An analog input renovates a voltage level into a digital
value that can be deposited and administered in a computer. There is a gathering of sensors available which
translate things like temperature, pressure, etc. into voltages. For example,
in an analog audio signal, the immediate voltage of the signal varies
uninterruptedly with the pressure of the sound waves. It fluctuates from a
digital signal, in which the continuous measure is a representation of a
categorization of discrete values which can only take on one of a finite number
of values.
