Data Cable

A data cable is a kind of device which provides a connection between two devices. There is a data cable which is HDMI. It connects your monitor to your PC. And also allows your computer to display a picture on the monitor. There is also a lot of data cable for PLC and Human Machine Interface (HMI). A data cable can be mentioned as a cord, connector, or plug. In a cable, there are one or more wires. All these wires covered by plastic. This covering allows for the transmission of power or data between devices.

There are three types of data cable. These are used for transmitting data. These cables are: twisted pair, fiber optics cables, and coax. All these data cables are used in different environments. All these data cables have different characteristics that make them identifiable.

Twisted Data Cable: Twisted Data Cable is used in telephone and computer networking. Twisted data cable gets the name from the twists in the wire, that span throughout the cabling. The twists in the cable also help to protect the data communication from signal downfall.

Coax Data Cable: Coaxial Data Cable used in the older computer networks. It is still used for the cable networks to provide television communication data. There is a need for special connector, which is known as BNC Connector.

Fibre Optic Cable: Fibre Optic Data Cable is used for fast data connections. Fibre Data Cable is used by telephone and internet companies to provide fast data connections to the customers. It is lightweight and there is no problem with signal downfall. Fibre Optic Cable networking is expensive and requires special network cards and hardware to transmit the signal.
