Description of this Product

The Eview USB-MT500 is an HMI to PC Communication Cable that is manufactured by Easy View. This Communication Cable is used for communicating two devices like HMI to PC etc. This is basically needed for PLC. That PLC is used in the industry and factory for the purpose of controlling the machine. If you want to connect an HMI with PLC, you need to connect these two devices with the help of HMI to PC Communication Cable.

It can be powered by DC power only. The DC power is 24V. This ensures balance with the most controlled DC systems.

Before programming any communication it is better to understand the install environment, installation instructions, power connections, communications connections, etc.

Where Used

The Eview HMI to PC Communication Cable (USB) USB-MT500 is designed for use in a factory environment. It is designed in such a way that it can operate from 0 degrees C to 45 degree C temperatures. The Eview HMI to PC Communication Cable USB-MT500 series front bezel is NEMA 4 Rated. The NEMA 4 rating of the panel will not be compromised when installing properly in a NEMA 4 panel. Because of that fluids will not enter the panel during wash downs.

Electrical Environment

It has been tested to conform to European CE requirements. The circuit is designed in such a way that it can resist the effects of electrical noise. This does not guarantee noise discharge in the sharp case. Appropriate grounding and wire routing will confirm the perfect operation.

Mechanical Environment

Do not install the Eview HMI to PC Communication Cable USB-MT500 in such an environment where bitter mechanical vibration or shocks are present.

Location Considerations

You have to take care when locating material behind the unit to confirm that AC Power wiring, PLC output modules, connectors, starters and relays, and any other source of electrical interference situated away from the back of the unit. Certain notes should be taken to the position of variable speed drives and switching power supplies. Their load cables and input covered to a central star earth point.

Panel Details

With a depth of 4 inches, the unit can be mounted into panels. Through an appropriate opening, it is recommended that the unit be mounted on the front panel of a steel enclosure. For mounting hardware, it allows a clearance of 1 inch surrounded the sides of the unit. It is better to plan a depth to make up at least 4 inches behind the panel.
