Introduction to Analog Input Module

Analog input Modules enable connection of the controller to the analog signal of a process. This analog input component is appropriate for connecting electrical analog sensors such as voltage and current sensors, thermocouples, regulators and confrontation thermometers as well as analog actuators. This analog element usually transforms a voltage level into a digital value that can be stockpiled and processed in a computer. This analog input module changes a voltage level into a digital value which can be stored or processed in a computer. Analog input module works over many areas. Such as when the analog input module enters the PLC it passes via analog to Digital converter . this is the module in the PLC analog signal to digital signal. There are thousand of sensors which converts thing like temperature, pressure into voltage which can easily be measured by various hardware. All these process are done by Analog input module
